COIMBATORE: Mr E.B. Sethna, Director, Coonoor Tea Estates Co Ltd and Poddar Udyog Ltd, has assumed office as the President of the United Planters' Association of Southern India.

Mr J.K. Thomas, Managing Director of Malankara Plantations and a member of the Tea Board, has taken over as the Vice-President of this apex body.
