Back CE Info Systems to offer `eLocation' services on mobiles

THE New Delhi-based CE Info Systems Pvt Ltd will soon introduce a range of location-related services on mobile phones.

According to Mr Rakesh Verma, Managing Director, CE Info Systems Pvt Ltd, the company will introduce its eLocation and eTrips services on mobile phones. These fee-based services are likely to be launched in New Delhi in October and be rolled out later in Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata.

In these six cities, the company's s location-related services will initially be offered independent of mobile phone operators. However, the company was in discussions with mobile phone service providers to offer these services across the country, he added.

Also on the cards is a facility that enables mobile phone users to search for location-related information on points of interest , he added.
