Back CBDT extends stay

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has extended the stay on all assessments and recovery proceedings related to assessments reopened specifically to reassess the claim for deduction under Section 80HHC of the Income-Tax Act.

An official release said the stay has been extended from September 30 to October 31.
