Back LG Electronics' festival offer

VISAKHAPATMAN: LG Electronics is offering special prizes during the Dasara-Deepavali festival season (from October 1 to November 5) in a countrywide campaign and it is christened "Mangalam-Subhamangalam'' in Andhra Pradesh, according to Mr D. Mallikarjuna Raju, Branch Manager, Vijayawada.

He said at a press meet here on Monday that the Vijaywada branch, covering the coastal districts from Srikakulam to Guntur besides Khammam, hopes to sell Rs 50 crore worth home appliances against Rs 30 crore sales during the period last year.

He said a prize would be given to every buyer during the period and LG Electronics was spending Rs 60 crore on the campaign across the country.

The company aims to to achieve Rs 1,600-crore turnover in the home appliances segment, he added.
