Back Elecon bags AP Genco order

HYDERABAD: The Gujarat-based Elecon Engineering Company Ltd has won a contract worth Rs 26.42 crore from Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Ltd (AP Genco), for design, engineering, manufacturing and supply of Wagon Tippler, associated equipment and conveying systems for their coal handling plant in Rayalaseema Thermal Power Station, according to a statement from Elecon.

The company claimed that during the first half this year, it has an order book of Rs 200-plus crore.
