Back Reliance Info cuts World Card rates

MUMBAI: Reliance Infocomm has announced cuts of up to 50 per cent in tariffs on its Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 international World Cards, as part of offers for the festival season.

The cuts would be applicable on calls to the US, Canada, the United Kingdom and the Gulf region, said a news release from the company.

Calls to all UK numbers will cost Rs 5.99 per minute down from Rs 14 per minute to mobile and Rs 7.20 per minute to fixed lines. Calls to the Gulf will cost Rs 9.99 per minute, down from Rs 12.25 a minute.

Mobile and landline calls to the US, Canada and South East Asia on the two cards will now be cheaper by Rs 4.99 per minute, said the news release.
