Verghese Kurien re-elected

ANAND: The architect of the "white revolution," Verghese Kurien, was on Monday re-elected the Chairman of the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) for another three years.

The former Chairman of the National Dairy Development Board, the 83-year-old Dr. Kurien has been the GCMMF's Chairman since its inception in 1973.

Dr. Kurien was unanimously re-elected at a meeting of the board of directors of the GCMMF.
