Back Shasun Chem net at Rs 6.19 cr

CHENNAI: Shasun Chemicals and Drugs has reported a net profit of Rs 6.19 crore for the second quarter of the current year, which is 8.5 per cent more than in the same quarter of last year.

Sales increased 2.67 per cent to Rs 87.33 crore, compared with Rs 85.06 crore previously.

For the first half of the current year, the company's sales increased to Rs 164.59 crore, up 2.28 per cent. Net profit too rose by 8.63 per cent to Rs 10.45 crore, according to a company press release — Our Bureau
