Back Satnam Overseas nets Rs 6.2 cr profit

NEW DELHI: Satnam Overseas has registered a net profit of Rs 6.2 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 compared to Rs 5.23 crore during the same period last fiscal.

For the second quarter this fiscal, the company registered net sales of Rs 88.55 crore compared to Rs 84.4 crore during the same period last fiscal.

For the half-year ended September 30, 2005, the company registered a net profit of Rs 11.16 crore compared to Rs 8.68 crore for the same period last fiscal, stated a release.

For the half-year period, the company registered net sales of Rs 193.97 crore compared to Rs 185.52 crore last fiscal. The shares of Satnam Overseas today closed at Rs 90.75 up 3.01 per cent.
