Back HDFC to hold home loan melas in Kerala

HDFC is organising a mega home loan bonanza across the State on November 5 and 6, offering special rates and concession on fees.

According to Mr C.V. Ignatius, General Manager, the offer will be valid throughout the State and three districts in Tamil Nadu - Nagercoil, Tuticorin and Thirunelveli.

The bonanza includes special rates (7.5 per cent floating) and concession fees, spot approvals of home loans, legal and technical guidance and the widest range of flexible home loan products. Mr Ignatius said the bank is trying to reach out to every nook and corner of the region. HDFC has 10 offices in Kerala. Besides, the HDFC offices, the offer will also be available in 62 locations in the region covering 75 places. In the areas where the bank does not have an office, the company's executives will put up post in hotels.

Referring to the bank's performance in Kerala, Mr Ignatius said the growth in the State is slightly higher than the all-India growth rate of 28-29 per cent and the gross NPA is lower than the all-India figure of less than one per cent.
