MUMBAI: Sterlite Industries has announced the appointment of Mr Agnivesh Agarwal as a non-executive chairman of Hindustan Zinc Ltd, a part of Vedanta Resources Plc.

Mr Agarwal is a Director of Madras Aluminium Company Ltd.
