Bomb hoax calls

NEW DELHI: Two cases of bomb hoax calls were reported from different parts of the Capital on Friday.

In the first case, the Police Control Room (PCR) received a call claiming that an unclaimed bag suspected to be containing explosives was lying near Kashmere Gate Metro station. Subsequently, the Bomb Disposal Squad reached the spot and secured the place. However, on inspection, they did not find any explosive in the bag, after which the call was declared a hoax.

The police received another call from Ajmeri Gate about an object suspected to be a bomb. But, no explosives were found in it.
