Back Food distribution vehicle to Akshaya Patra Foundation

MANGALORE: The Chairman and Managing Director of Corporation Bank, Mr V.K. Chopra, handed over a food distribution vehicle to Akshaya Patra Foundation — a charitable organisation of Bangalore - in Bangalore recently. A bank release said here on Tuesday that the Corporation Bank Economic Development Foundation has extended a donation of Rs 10 lakh to the Akshaya Patra Foundation in this regard. The release said that the Foundation has been providing free meals every day to poor school children in rural areas surrounding Bangalore city.
