Back BPL Mobile ties up with cos in Oman, Saudi Arabia

BPL Mobile has announced its tie-up with Nawras in Oman and Mobily in Saudi Arabia to offer bilateral international roaming facility between the three destinations.

With this tie up, BPL Mobile will become the first operator in Kerala to have tied up Nawras to offer bilateral roaming between Kerala and Sultanate of Oman, Mr K.A. Mohamed Saleem, Vice President and COO - South said.

Nawras brings a unique blend of international expertise of Qtel-Qatar and TDC Denmark and the local expertise from a range of Omani partners.

On the other hand, Mobily is a consortium between Emirates Telecom Corporation, UAE-based leading telecom provider Etisalat and several other major investors in private sector in Saudi Arabia.

Mr Saleem said that BPL mobile subscribers now travelling to Oman and Saudi Arabia have the option of logging onto either of the two cellular networks there.
