Back K. Radhakrishnan is NRSA chief

DR K. Radhakrishnan has taken over as the new Director of National Remote Sensing Agency. NRSA is an autonomous body of the Department of Space.

He succeeds Dr R.R. Navalgund, who has moved to Space Applications Centre, Ahmedabad, according to an ISRO release.

Dr Radhakrishnan began his career in ISRO as avionics engineer at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Thiruvananthapuram, in 1971. He has been Director, Budget & Economic Analysis, and Director of the regional remote sensing service centres. Since 2000, he was the Director of Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services, Hyderabad.
