Back Bajaj plans to ramp up capacity

Bajaj Auto plans to invest Rs 200 crore in 2006 to raise capacity to manufacture its Discover motorcycle and Wave scooter. On completion of the expansion, Bajaj would have a capacity to manufacture three million units a year as against the present 2.4 million. It also seeks to expand its presence in countries such as Indonesia and Pakistan. Bajaj plans to roll out three new motorcycles and four new scooters over the next two years.
