Back Himalya gets order to supply baby potatoes

MUMBAI: Himalya International Ltd has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that it has received an order for $2.5 million for its specialty baby potatoes from a North American retail chain.

The specially-grown tiny potatoes with soft skin are being grown under the contract farming programme in Himachal Pradesh. These potatoes are harvested under the special climatic conditions to retain the soft skin.
