Singhvi sworn in CJ

HYDERABAD: Ganpat Singh Singhvi was sworn in Chief Justice of the High Court by Governor Sushil Kumar Shinde here on Sunday.

At a simple ceremony held on the lawns of Raj Bhavan, the Governor administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr. Justice Singhvi.

A warrant issued by President A. P. J. Kalam appointing him as Chief Justice was read out.

The Governor and Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy presented bouquets to the new Chief Justice after the ceremony.
