NEW DELHI: HCL Technologies Ltd and Saila Systems Inc, Japan, have announced the launch of Panax Finder, a statistical analysis software package that can be used by pharmaceutical companies in the drug discovery process.

"This software will help pharmaceutical companies to identify the properties of the drug and predict its efficiency even before its synthesis, thereby gaining tremendously on time. Panax Finder is a user-friendly tool which reduces the labour intensive approach thereby saving thousands of dollars and years by utilising 3D Quantitative Structure Activity Relationship to guide the chemical synthesis," an HCL release said here.

Saila Systems Inc is an IT solution companies in Japan providing a range of services.
