Back BBC's proposal for 20% stake in Radio MidDay okayed

NEW DELHI: BBC Worldwide's proposal to pick up 20 per cent stake in Mumbai-based FM radio operator Radio MidDay involving foreign direct investment worth Rs 11.87 crore was among the various FDI proposals cleared by the Government on Friday.

A total of 36 proposals involving FDI worth Rs 114.27 crore was okayed by the Finance Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram.

Dimexon International Holding BV of the Netherlands, too, has received the nod for setting up a wholly owned subsidiary involving FDI worth Rs 45.74 crore.
