Back BEFI call on WTO Ministerial

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The All-India President of the Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI), Mr P. Sadasivan Pillai, has called on the bank employees to make a success of the protest day on Monday (December 12) to coincide with the WTO Ministerial commencing the next day.

According to Mr Pillai, the Centre needs to take a prudent stand at the WTO Ministerial and not simply give in to the machinations of the rich and powerful countries aimed at subjugating interests of millions living in the third world.

He also exhorted the bank employees to join mass people organisations in taking out protest marches all over the State on Tuesday in this connection.
