Back Help varsities update syllabus, ICAI told Our Bureau

Kochi , Dec. 9 THE Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) should share its expertise with Indian universities to help update the syllabus in tune with the changing times, said the Kerala Governor, Mr R.L. Bhatia. Inaugurating the 37th regional conference of the Southern India Regional Council of the ICAI here on Friday, Mr Bhatia said the institute should come forward to assist the State Government in chalking out innovative programmes. The advent of business process outsourcing to India has created the need for chartered accountants to explore the situation, he said.
