Back Oracle OpenWorld meet in Mumbai on Jan 10, 11 Our Bureau
New Delhi , Dec. 14 ORACLE India Private Ltd will host the global technology and business conference Oracle OpenWorld in Mumbai on January 10 and 11. The conference is targeted at customers, partners, business and IT decision makers. India is one of the only two countries in the Asia Pacific region to host the conference in Oracle's current financial year, June-May 2006. With the theme `Information Empowers', the conference will host 90 sessions covering 11 tracks. Eminent speakers such as Mr K.V. Kamath, Managing Director and CEO of ICICI Bank; Mr S. Ramdorai, Managing Director and CEO of Tata Consultancy Services; Mr Pramod Bhasin, President and CEO of Genpact; and Mr Rajesh Hukku, Chairman and Managing Director of i-flex, will take part. Top Oracle executives - the President, Mr Charles Phillips, and the Executive Vice-President (Asia Pacific and Japan), Mr Derek Williams - will speak, apart from 35 Oracle customers from India. "Information is the new currency in the global market. To harness the true potential of information, organisations need world-class IT infrastructure," the Oracle India Managing Director, Mr Krishan Dhawan, said at a conference here.
