Back AP Aksh gets ISP licence

HYDERABAD: AP Aksh Broadband Ltd, a company implementing the Statewide broadband network that seeks to connect 40,000 Government offices and reach out services to the common man, has received Internet service provider (ISP) licence, a statement from the company said.

The project received the ISP licence after the intervention of the State Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajashekhara Reddy, and the interaction he had with the Union Information Technology and Communication Minister, Mr Dayanidhi Maran. The project seeks to provide Internet, cable TV and net phone through the same cable.
