Procession disrupts traffic

Staff Correspondent

Belgaum: The Belgaum district unit of Bhim Sena took out a rally and staged a rasta roko disrupting vehicular traffic on four major roads at Channamma Circle demanding that a CBI probe be instituted into a murder case in Mysore in which a dalit leader, Mysore Mantelingiah, has been implicated. The Bhim Sena submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner.

The founder president of Bhim Sena, Laxman Y. Lakole, who addressed the workers, alleged that the Mysore City Police Commissioner Praveen Sood had deliberately implicated Mr. Mantelingaiah in the murder case because Mr. Mantelingaiah had led a rally against the Police Commissioner for dropping the name of Shashidhar in the murder of a dalit girl, Ambuja.
