Back IIT-Kharagpur to host nanotech meet

THE Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-KGP), will host an International Conference on MEMS (micro-electro-mechanical systems) Semiconductor Nanotechnology from December 20 to 22. The conference is part of the celebration of the World Year of Physics 2005.

According to a release issued by IIT-KGP, the conference will be inaugurated by world-renowned scientist Dr H.H. Gleiter of the Institute of Nanotechnology, Germany. Around 220 delegates from across the world will partake in the conference, which comprises a keynote lecture, five plenary lectures, a series of invited and contributed papers and a poster session.
