Back SkyQuestCom eyes $10-m turnover

THE Singapore-based SkyQuestCom, which has 10,000 subscribers for its e-learning programmes and reported a turnover of $3 million this year, is targeting a turnover of $10 million in 2006, according to Ms Yang Po, Managing Director.

The company, which entered the Indian market with an office in Bangalore, provides content and e-learning training packages. SkyQuestCom has invested about $1 million in India so far, Mr Richard Tan, CEO, SkyQuestCom, said.

He said that the company planned to aggressively target the Indian consumer and also reach its target of a million subscribers in India in three years.

Ms Yang Po said that next year the company planned to increase its presence its key markets of China and Japan. At present, China contributes to 40 per cent of the company's global turnover, while Japan's share is about 30 per cent and India's about 5 per cent. She said that India's share would likely go up to 15 per cent next year.
