Karnataka - Belgaum

Liquor seized, four held

Belgaum: An Excise Department team intercepted a truck on Belgaum-Goa National Highway 4A and seized 290 boxes of liquor being illegally transported from Goa to Belgaum on Sunday. The team arrested four persons.

The names of the accused were given as Suresh Chandrappa Udappanvar of Mapusa, Alvin John D'souza from Shantinagar, Panjim in Goa, Imran Shaik of Azamnagar in Belgaum and Timmanna Gandeppa of Biskeri in Gadag district.
