Reunion of the old class

THIRTY YEARS later many of us hardly resemble the fresh, young graduates we once were.

In fact, we look as old as our teachers of those days. Forty alumni of Indian Institute of Science got together recently; all had obtained their degrees in 1973 and 74. Many came from overseas and some of the faculty of those years also turned up to greet their old students.

Air Vice-Marshal (retired) R. Krishnan, President of the IISc Alumni Association, was present to greet other old students.

Many are now in top positions in private and public research organisations and a good number in the defence sector.
