CHENNAI: Sanrasoft has unveiled Rudra, an anti-virus tool that protects PCs from viruses and malicious codes such as Trojans, worms, and spyware, according to a company official.

The product, which is to be commercially launched next month, not only removes the potential virus threat but restores the system to its original malware-free status, Mr Sanjay Bhardwaj, CEO, told newspersons.

The company, which has about 45 employees, is talking to original equipment manufacturers to bundle Sanra and offer it to end-customers.

It is also targeting ISPs as major customers. The cost of the product is yet to be finalised.

The Indian market for anti-virus products is about Rs 250 crore, and the company hopes to gain 15 per cent market share in the next few years, he said.
