BANGALORE: A home for the aged, an orphanage for girls and a peace park called "Shantivana" were launched by the Sri Ramana Maharshi Seva Trust at Thirumagondanahalli on the outskirts of the city on Sunday. The home for the aged will accommodate 20 senior citizens in the first phase, while the orphanage will initially accommodate 15 girls, according to B. Srinivasa Reddy, trustee of the Sri Ramana Maharshi Seva Trust. The "bhoomi pooja" for the projects was conducted on Sunday in the presence of Shivakumara Swamiji of the Siddaganga Mutt.
