Constable swoons at punishment drill

ANANTAPUR: A police constable, Fakruddin (50), one among 22 under punishment for their alleged negligence of duties, fell unconscious here on Monday while participating in the additional (punishment) drill in the parade grounds. He was immediately rushed to the General Hospital, where his condition was stated to be stable.Posted in H indupur Two Town police station Fakruddin was awarded punishment along with 21 others from different police stations by the SP for their alleged negligence of duties. They were under punishment for the last 15 days. They were conducting drill supervised by armed reserved section on Monday, when the incident occurred. Doctors attending on him stated that his blood pressure and blood sugar had gone down, but he is recovering.
