Back Deutsche Bank unveils `no frills' account

DEUTSCHE Bank launched its no frills account, "db Easy Savings Account," which offers basic banking services at affordable prices to customers, in line with the Reserve Bank of India guidelines.

According to a press release, customers need to maintain a minimum average monthly balance of only Rs 500 in this savings account. It provides free quarterly consolidated account statements, free personalised payable-at-par chequebooks and 3.5 per cent per annum interest.
