Back Tourism co-operative inaugurated

MANGALORE: A branch of the Bharathi Tourism Development Cooperative (BTDC) was inaugurated in Mangalore on Thursday. BTDC is a multi-state cooperative having operations in Goa, Karnataka and Kerala. Mr K. Ramachandra Bhat, Director of the cooperative, said that BTDC is making efforts to promote tourism activities throughout the cooperative sector in these States. Mr Suryakanth Kelkar, Organising Secretary of Sahakara Bharathi, launched BTDC's new tour packages on the occasion. The President of the Central Arecanut and Cocoa Marketing and Processing Cooperative (Campco) Ltd, Mr S. R. Rangamurthy, was present on the occasion.
