Back Spot rubber prices dip on sales by dealers Our Correspondent
Kottayam , Dec. 30 SPOT rubber surrendered as selling from dealers hammered the prices amidst moderate buyer resistance at higher levels. Covering purchases appeared nominal as the overseas markets were not so encouraging. An increase in arrivals was also reported from the village markets. NMCE January contract quoted at Rs 71.25 (Rs 72.34), February contract at Rs 73.30 (Rs 73.85) March contract at Rs 74.25 (Rs 74.85) and April contract at Rs 75.60 (Rs 75.94) per kg for RSS 4. The same grade was quoted at Rs 72.10 against Rs 72.66 a kg on MCX Physical prices a kg were: RSS-4: Rs 71.25 (Rs 72.00); RSS-5: Rs 69.00 (Rs 69.50); ungraded: Rs 67.00 (Rs 67.50); ISNR 20: Rs 68.50 (Rs 69.00) and latex 60 per cent: Rs 50.00 (Rs 50.00)
