Back Indian Bank adopts village Our Bureau
Mumbai , Jan 3 INDIAN Bank launched the National Pilot Project for financial inclusion in Pondicherry on December 31, 2005. Under this project, the bank adopted Mangalam village under its Villianoor Branch, Pondicherry circle, said a press release from the bank. Indian Bank has issued zero-balance savings bank accounts to 1,551 villagers, covering the entire population of the village.
