Back Pre-Budget talks with industrialists

THE Finance Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, is to hold a customary pre-budget meeting here on Monday with leading industrialists of the country.

Apex industry associations have had a round of discussions with the Revenue Secretary, Mr K.M. Chandrasekhar, and other senior officials of the Finance Ministry on direct as well as indirect tax related issues.
