Back Mobile banking from KVB

Karur Vysya Bank has launched mobile banking services through SMS. The new service enables savings and current account holders to view account information such as balance, transaction status and cheque status by sending SMS to the bank. They can also request for chequebook, issue stop-payment on cheques and make enquiries on their term deposit status. All these services will be provided free of cost. The customer can also register for SMS alerts for debit/credit transactions above a predetermined amount at a service charge of Re 1 per alert. As an introductory offer, the bank is offering these alerts free till March.
