Dacoit gang member nabbed
Superintendent of Police N. Balasubramanyam told newspersons here on Sunday that Munga Sudhakar led a dacoit gang which had committed five offences in Ongole, two in Tirupati and one in Vizianagaram. Efforts are being made to nab the other members of the gang. - Special Correspondent

Support to irrigation projects assured

Action against DSP sought
In a letter to Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, CPI State secretary K. Narayana took strong objection to the participation of the police officer in the meeting.
