NAWADA: Property of absconding senior Congress leader and a former Bihar minister Aditya Singh and his three sons were on Sunday attached by the police in Bihar's Nawada district on the orders of a local court, official sources said. A police team headed by Sub-divisional Officer (SDO) Mohammad Kaiser Alam, went to Singh's native village Narhat and attached his property and brought the seized goods to Narhat police station. The seized items included an illegal gun, two dozen cartridges, stolen electric wire and insulators, the sources said. A local court had on Saturday ordered attachment of property of Singh, his three sons and another person in connection with a murder case. The Chief Judicial Magistrate of Nawada, Shailendra Sharan Srivastava, had passed the property attachment order against Singh, his sons--Shekhar, Suman and Saurabh--besides one Ram Pyare Singh, all of whom are absconding, for their alleged involvement in the killing of two BJP workers Rakesh and Ajay on December 27 last year. - PTI
