BANGALORE: A woman died on the spot and 15 were injured when a vehicle in which they were travelling overturned near Yelahanka on Sunday. The police gave the name of the dead as Lingamma (35). The vehicle was transporting road repair material and the workers from Chikkaballapur when the incident occurred near Bharatinagar Cross. The injured have been admitted to hospitals. A case has been registered.
Driver dies in accident
An autorickshaw driver died on the spot when a goods carrier hit his vehicle in the Madiwala police station limits on Saturday. The victim, Ashok (25), was a resident of Banashankari. He was sitting in his vehicle near a BMTC Bus Stop on Garvebavipalya Palya on Hosur Road when the incident occurred.
Man dies as lorry hits him
A 35-year-old man died on the spot when a lorry hit him near Kanteerava Studios in Nandini Police Station limits on Saturday. The body is kept at M.S. Ramaiah Hospital. The Rajajinagar traffic police have registered a case.
Man killed in accident
A motorcycle rider died on the way to hospital after a Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus hit him on Naidu Road near Indiranagar on Saturday. The police gave the name of the dead as Suresh (21). Though he was administered first aid in a clinic, he died of injuries, the police said.
