WARANGAL: An NGO -- Ayurvedeeya Arogya Samrakshana Samstha -- is organising a seminar on `Integration of Ayurveda and Allopathy - present need of public health care' from February 10 here. Samstha general secretary T. Venu Gopal said the seminar was being held in association with Kakatiya Medical College, Government Ayurvedic colleges of Warangal and Vijayawada and National Medical Association and about 800 professionals from different parts of the country would take part.

Directive to constables

Two die of diarrhoea

VIZIANAGARAM: Two persons died of diarrhoea and 38 more living in and around Bobbili were affected, for reasons still unestablished by municipal officials. Though officials ruled out contamination of water and poor sanitary conditions and attributed the outbreak to consumption of meat, unofficial sources pointed out that reckless dumping of garbage on the banks of river Vegavathi and also at Bojarajupuram water works by Salur Municipality was the reason for the epidemic cases. Two farmers electrocuted

Nellore : Two farmers, V. Rosi Reddy (35) and L. Venkateswarlu (31), were electrocuted on Monday when they went to the fields to provide water to crops and came in touch with a live wire. The victims belonged to Pedduru village of Jadavaripalle panchayat. Police are investigating. Staff Reporter

4 held for rape of minor

ADONI: Four persons were arrested in connection with the rape of a minor girl at Indira Nagar Colony in Adoni town on December 15. The accused were identified as Eeranna, Deva, Kuthi Eeranna and Sekanna. Staff Reporter

Five-year-old dies in suicide pact

Sangareddy: Admonished by the village elders and husband Kishan Nayak, a 28-year-old woman Sakkubai took poison and administered it to her two daughters killing one of them. The mother and her one-year-old daughter are struggling for life at the Sangareddy Government Hospital.

Five die in accident

Sangareddy: Three persons returning to Mumbai after a visit to Hitec City in Hyderabad died on national highway nine on Monday when their Toyota van rammed into a parked truck under Chiragpalli police station limits of Zaheerabad mandal. In another accident, two persons died and 20 others were hurt when a private passenger bus from Bangalore to Hyderabad collided with a lorry near Manopad crossroad, 25 km from Kurnool.
