ALAPPUZHA: The Kerala March, led by Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) State secretary Pinarayi Vijayan, will visit various Assembly constituencies in the district on January 18 and 19, party district secretary G. Sudhakaran said here on Monday. He said 2,500 reception committees had been formed at various places in the district. The rally would enter the district at Thavanakkadavu from Kottayam on January 18. The district committee would receive the march there. A public reception would be accorded to the march at Ponnamveli in Aroor. The rally would later visit Cherthala and Mararikkulam Assembly constituencies and end in Alappuzha on the day. The reception at Alappuzha is being organised on Alappuzha municipal ground at 6 p.m. On January 19, the first reception would be accorded to the march at Ramankary in Kuttanad at 10 a.m. The march would later visit Ambalappuzha, Haripad and Kayamkulam Assembly constituencies. The reception to the march at Kayamkulam would be held at 3 p.m. The march would later visit Mavelikkara and Pandalam constituencies and would conclude its visit in the district at Chengannur. The reception meeting at Chengannur would be held at 6 p.m.
