Plea to establish mini cinemas

BANGALORE: Children's India, an organisation promoting children's films in the State, has urged the Government to establish mini cinema halls in each district for screening children's films under its rural development and primary education programmes.

Director-producer N. R. Nanjunde Gowda and director Joe Simeon told presspersons here on Monday that on an average 30 per cent of students representing over 50 schools in the city participated in the festival, which was inaugurated on Friday.
