Back NID-designed HCL desktops

NEW DELHI: HCL Technologies has introduced a range of `Designed in India' desktop computers designed by the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad.

The desktops are designed keeping in view the changing lifestyles, customer needs and preferences. They have been customised and are highly responsive to health issues and sensitive to preventing long-term disorders and strains, the company said in a statement.

For the purpose of designing the desktop, NID conducted a comprehensive survey with around 200 enterprises across various industry segments. Through this survey, NID sought direct feedback, which helped them to design the next generation desktops.
