Back Alphaa in MT joint venture

COIMBATORE: Trans-Venture BPO Solutions Pvt Ltd, a joint venture between the New York-based Reporters Transcription Centre (RTC) and Alphaa Systems in Coimbatore, is aiming to tap the US medical transcription (MT) segment.

The joint venture partners have agreed to invest $2 million in this project. The company has been sourcing transcription work from nine vendors for almost five years. "Our confidence in Alphaa Systems has culminated in this deal," said Mr Randall A. Czerenda, President, RTC. "Mr Czerenda said that with the help of `Stentura,' a mechanical short hand keyboard developed to enhance speed and accuracy, transcriptionists are able to earn much more than they would with a normal keyboard.
