Back Jamnalal Bajaj meet in Mumbai

MUMBAI: The annual business convention of the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies is to be held on January 12.

The forum, called Strategym, provides a platform for budding managerial talent to meet with and gain from the expertise and experience of the industry.

According to an official statement, papers presented at the convention in previous years have been adopted by various organisations. For instance, UNDP adopted a paper on disaster management for rehabilitation of the Kutch region, presented at the convention.

The four modules to be presented this year are `Exploring and tapping the potential of urban microfinance'; `Ensuring insurance: Business continuity, disaster recovery plans for the insurance industry;' `Endorsement or embarrassment: Impact of celebrity endorsers on brands;' and `Prescription for futuristic outbound supply chain: A pharmaceutical industry perspective.'
