Back Training course on security

CHENNAI: Secure Matrix, Mumbai-based information security consulting company, has launched a training course on information technology security in association with Det Norske Veritas (DNV), a certification company in quality systems.

The Certified Vulnerability Assessor (CVA) programme will train people on IT vulnerability assessment wherein the systems are checked and assessed for known and unknown vulnerabilities (such as configuration errors), said Mr M.L. Srinivasan, Chief Technology Officer, Secure Matrix.

The five-days course would cost Rs 20,000, and DNV will issue certificates for students successfully completing it, he told newspersons.
