BANGALORE: The State Government has constituted a committee under the chairmanship of K.C. Reddy, Adviser to Minister for Public Works and Energy H.D. Revanna and Chairman of the Technical Advisory Committee to study the availability of water for the Upper Bhadra Project under schemes A and B and other issues. The other issues which the committee will study are the possibility of water shortage in the Bhadra reservoir if the Upper Bhadra Project is implemented. The project's impact on the environment will be studied. In a press release, the committee has invited representations on various issues. Representations addressed to the committee Chairman may be sent or handed over to the Engineer-in-Chief, Water Resources Development Organisation, Ananda Rao Circle, Bangalore - 560009, before February 28.
