Exciting win for Orissa Steelers

Chandigarh: A dying-minute penalty conversion by Inder Singh Salaria helped Orissa Steelers snatch an exciting 3-2 verdict against plucky Delhi Dazzlers in a Tier II Premier Hockey League played here on Sunday.

Rajesh Lakra, Birender Lakra and Salaria were the scorers for Steelers while Ajit Pal Singh and Raja found the target for Dazzlers.

In another match, goalkeeper Neeraj Kujur's acrobatic saves under the bar during the shoot-out helped Lucknow Nawabs pip a fighting Imphal Rangers 5-4 via sudden death.
